West Bengal Unlock 4.0 Travel Guidelines

The state of West Bengal has released new travel guidelines considering the ongoing situation of Covid-19 pandemic. While the Government lifted most of the travel restrictions in several phases post Covid-19 lockdown, the second wave of Covid in West Bengal has made the Government rethink on travel guidelines.
In a bid to deal with the second onslaught of Coronavirus, the Government has issued new restrictions on traveling and fines for rule-breaking. Given below are the intra-state and inter-state travel guidelines for West Bengal. The information is subject to change as per the updates issued by the West Bengal Government.
West Bengal Interstate Travel Guidelines
- All passengers arriving in West Bengal from Kerala, Maharashtra, Karnataka, and Telangana are required to carry an RT-PCR negative report from an ICMR approved lab, which is not older than 72 hours.
- 14-day self-monitored quarantine is essential for all interstate travelers.
- All passengers must have the Aarogya Setu app in their mobile phones.
- Passengers must fill up and submit a declaration form via app developed by the H&FW Department West Bengal.
