If you are travelling with older parents or small children, flying to Tirupati can be a more comfortable option. Direct flights to Tirupati Airport are available from cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Visakhapatnam.

The airport is located around 40 kilometres from the Tirumala Tirupati Temple, and you can easily take a taxi from the airport to reach Tirumala.

• ID proof details are required during booking

• Ticket categories include special entry darshan and darshan for differently-abled and senior devotees (1000 slots/day)

• Tickets are released in monthly quotas on specific dates

Those who have contributed ₹10,000 to the SRIVANI Trust can avail of a one-time VIP darshan at the Tirupati Temple. An additional ₹500 needs to be paid for booking the darshan ticket. Children under 12-years-old do not need to have a separate darshan ticket.

The Sarva Darshan option is free for all devotees. If you want to avoid the crowds, you can book a faster special darshan entry for ₹300.
