  • The Kerala RTC has provided a 30% discount on its takeover services.The new bus services introduced by KSRTC to combat illicit bus services are known as "takeover services." Private buses (contract carriages) are unlawfully operating on the Nationalised road.
  • To guarantee the safety of female passengers at night, the chairman of the KSRTC Kerala has issued an order ordering state bus services to let off female passengers travelling alone at a convenient location between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. Except for 'Minnal' services, the order applies to all KSRTC buses.
  • Kerala State Road Transport Corporation is all set to launch 131 new Swift buses to Bengaluru.
  • KSRTC Kerala is going to launch more Janshatabhdi Model buses in its fleet. The new bus service from Thampanoor will depart at 5:10 p.m. and arrive in Nedumbassery at 10:40 p.m.
  • KSRTC will shortly introduce 1,690 electric buses in Thiruvananthapuram as part of a plan to switch to green energies. In addition to the 690 buses purchased with the support of KIIFBI, the KSRTC will receive 1,000 buses under two union governments.
