The Kawad Yatra is a deeply spiritual event where devotees carry sacred water from the Ganga river in decorated bamboo containers called Kawads. This water is then offered to Lord Shiva at specific temples such as Neelkanth Mahadev, Baidyanath Jyotirlinga, or Kashi Vishwanath. The practice symbolises purification, penance, and unwavering devotion.
