i bkd from chennai to ernakulam reaching time is on 8 am still am in coimbathore 8 am they loaded some glass load
I am a regular user of redbud and due to personal reasons I had to go for a last moment booking for this bus. I booked ticket for chennai to Ernakulam. From start itself nothing was correct with this bus. First of all I had to book a seater non AC bus for Rs. 1500 for this price I used to book either Parveen or kallada travels till last stop that too AC. Bus came to stop by 9:45pm inspite of 9 pm being the actual time but we can ignore this as it was heavy traffic through out the city. Bus was stopped at some place for one hour or more and again for food. As per the timings told bus had to reach by 8:30 am next day but it reached by 2 pm afternoon. Driver dint even know the route through which he had to go and many instances I myself saw asking to fellow drivers and people on road. Before reaching Ernakulam at edapally stop itself he said its the last stop which ultimately lead to a fight between travellers and bus people and under pressure he had to take bus. My humble request to red bus people kindly before putting any bus on redbus please atleast do a sanity check.
For a normal push back seat with really bad AC the bus was overly priced. Being a festive season had the AC been proper, paying an additional amount would have made sense. Also, instead of the usual final stop, Vytila, the last stop was Edapally and that was also not communicated in advance. To highlight the positives, the bus was clean and arrived at starting point without too much of delay considering Chennai traffic and the choice of places for refreshment were also good. The staffs were neither too helpful nor too irresponsible, hence no comments there. One request to the agency would be to ensure that from next time that you demand a price to which you can show justice to.
Bus got breakdown near coiambatore. The worst service we have ever seen.
