RAJDHANI (A.C. Semi Sleeper) - TGSRTC

The Rajdhani bus service is an air-conditioned intercity bus service that’s operated by the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC). Rajdhani buses fall between the mid-level Super Luxury buses and the premium Garuda Plus bus service. Rajdhani buses run on medium and long-distance routes, connecting major cities and towns across Telangana. These buses offer A/C comfort, reclining seats, and all the basic amenities needed to make intercity journeys relaxing.

TGSRTC Rajdhani Bus Features

TGSRTC’s Rajdhani buses are equipped with the following features to ensure a comfortable journey for all passengers:

• Reclining semi-sleeper seats with good legroom

• Individual reading lamps above the seats

• Adjustable air vents for better airflow

TGSRTC started Rajdhani buses to provide affordable A/C travel. The ticket price usually falls between Super Luxury and Garuda Plus services, which makes Rajdhani tickets affordable to a wide range of passengers. 

Concessions

TGSRTC provides travel concessions for certain passenger categories, including senior citizens and students. The availability of concessions may vary depending on the route and ticket type.

TGSRTC has also introduced 31 different types of bus passes for students, differently-abled passengers, and journalists. These bus passes offer passengers special discounted rates on select buses and routes. 

You can cancel your Rajdhani bus booking before the departure of the bus to get a refund. But please note that cancellation fees will be applicable and will vary depending on when you cancel your booking.  

The cancellation charges for Rajdhani bus tickets will be calculated as per these slabs:

All Rajdhani buses have a 12-meter Ashok Leyland or Volvo 8400 body. Each bus is equipped with AC and follows a semi-sleeper layout for comfortable journeys. 

Seating Arrangements

TGSRTC’s Rajdhani buses have a 2+2 seating arrangement, with two seats on either side of the walking aisle. Each bus has about 40 semi-sleeper reclining seats in total, giving passengers enough legroom and space to relax and enjoy the ride.
