What are the IRCTC Bedroll Cancellation and Amendment Rules?

  • After using your bedroll, you are unable to sell it.


  • Any changes or cancellations made to a passenger's bedroll within five hours before the train's scheduled departure will not result in a refund.


  • A 20% cancellation fee will be applicable to passengers who change or cancel their reservation less than five hours before the train's planned departure.


  • You have 20 hours after the train arrives to get a refund if you don't receive your bedroll during the trip. To claim a refund, you must also certify your ticket from the TTE for non-supply of bedrolls.

Is Bedroll Facility Available For Sleeper Class?

The IRCTC personalised takeout bedrolls system offers this service, but IRCTC does not offer bedrolls in sleeping classes. Under this program, two different kinds of bedroll kits are offered. e-bedrolls are available for purchase from multipurpose booths at train stations or can be reserved online via the IRCTC tourism website.
