I had booked a bus ticket through an online booking details for my brother. The ticket was booked for travel from Ernakulam to Koothuparamba on the 24th, and the bus was scheduled to depart from Edappal at 10:00 PM. However, due to unavoidable circumstances, I was unable to undertake the journey on the scheduled date. Therefore, I attempted to cancel the ticket through the online booking details. To my surprise, the online booking details displayed a refundable amount of only XXXX rupees against the total ticket fare of XXXX rupees paid by me. Since the refund amount offered was only XXXX rupees, I was unable to proceed with the cancellation and, therefore, did not cancel the ticket. I had taken and retained a screenshot of the online booking details displaying the refund amount offered. I confirm that neither I nor the person for whom the ticket was booked travelled on the bus on the scheduled date. Offering a refund of only XXXX rupees against a ticket fare of XXXX rupees was highly unreasonable and unfair. I was extremely dissatisfied with this refund policy and the lack of fair customer service. I requested that this matter be investigated and that I be provided with an appropriate refund in accordance with applicable rules and regulations. I hoped that my complaint would be taken seriously and that appropriate action would be taken to resolve this issue.

The overall journey was average. The seats were not clean, and there were no charging points available at the seats, which caused inconvenience during the trip. For a long-distance bus service, cleanliness and basic passenger facilities should be a priority.

Seats U 7 and 8 were completely wet due to rainwater leakage, and even the blankets got soaked.

Thank you for your excellent services. If you can introduce these long-distance buses with an inbuilt small toilet, it will be a big help for senior citizens like me. Or perhaps after two or three hours, a short toilet stop so senior citizens like me can ease themselves. It would be so helpful. Thank you so much.
