Absolute Nightmare – Corrupt Operator, Unsafe for Women, and Complete Disrespect for Tourists! I booked a Devbhoomi Travels bus from Sonprayag to Rishikesh through MakeMyTrip, and it was a living hell for my wife and me. We chose this operator solely because it was verified and listed on MakeMyTrip, but this experience completely shattered our trust. Here is exactly why this operator needs to be blacklisted immediately: • Massive Delays & Lies: The bus was scheduled to depart at 9:00 AM. They delayed the start for no valid reason, finally moving closer to 10:00 AM. • Treating a Tourist Bus Like a Local Shuttle: The journey was excruciating. Every 2 hours, the driver stopped the bus for 30 minutes at a time. They were continuously boarding local passengers and villagers off the road just to make extra cash. • Blatant Discrimination & Safety Concerns: The bus became incredibly overcrowded and suffocating. As a husband travelling with my wife, it felt completely unsafe for a woman. There was clear, hostile discrimination against tourists who booked online in favor of local passengers. The operator did not care about the tourist experience at all—they only cared about greed and money. • Abusive Staff: The bus attendants were extremely rude. Their language and behavior when questioned about the delays and overcrowding were completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Financial Loss & Repercussions: Because of Devbhoomi Travels' endless delays and unprofessionalism, we missed our connecting bus from Rishikesh to Gurgaon. I was forced to book a secondary ticket at the last minute, costing me an additional ₹XXXX plus GST, not to mention the immense mental harassment and frustration we went through. I have all the receipts to prove this overlap and financial damage. MakeMyTrip is actively ruining its own reputation by allowing these scammers and sub-standard operators on the platform. I demand a full refund for this journey and a fair compensation for the connecting bus I missed due to their negligence. MakeMyTrip must take strict action, compensate affected travelers, and ban Devbhoomi Travels permanently.

Worst experience, charging double for the same route, don't book online for this route.

Nobody called, and the driver or conductor did not pick the call.

They just threatened me to degrade my seat; otherwise, they would cancel the booking. It was a terrible experience. Even did not help even a bit. No refund for fare difference in both seats. The entire journey was just a nightmare. Worst service. Never book this bus service.

Smooth return journey from Sonprayag (Uttarakhand) to Rishikesh on the 12:00 PM bus after the Kedarnath trek. Boarding was easy, made sure to board at the big bus stop and not where the map pin was. For the price I paid, it was worth it. If there were any options with a more comfortable bus, I would had paid x3, but there were no other options unless taking a private taxi or small van for a group. Thank you, I would had happily booked with you again.

Good journey from Rishikesh to Sonprayag on the 6:30 am bus. Easy boarding, a decent ride on the mountain road, considering the price. Would travel again. Thank you.

Everything was worst.

Some basic due diligence before allowing bus agencies to list their services on the platform. Trust of customers gets shaken who book based on their trust, but receive horrible service despite paying in premium. Have some standard.

There is no safety for luggage in bus, and staff behaviour is also bad.
