The bus was late when it arrived... Overall the bus is fine but considering that its a semi-sleeper the bus gets too cramped up especially when everyone starts reclining their seats. Overall pickup was late by almost 1 hr in Surat but they did cover up the lost time reaching only 10 mins after the scheduled arrival time in Pune.
The Bus arrived at the boarding point on time but thereafter it just took its own time and a 7.30min journey was delayed by 1.20mins. The interior of the bus was very dirty and unkept including the staff. The blankets were not fresh and the seat pockets had stuff from the previous occupants. Not a very nice journey from Surat to Pune.
I am a Central Govt. Officer. I happened to travel by SRS travels from Surat to Pune by booking online through redbus.in. This bus is not an ideal choice for those who wish to travel from Surat to Pune. This bus comes from Jalore (Raj) and going to Bangalore via Pune. But while searching in redbus, there is no mention of this fact and the site shows as if the bus starts from surat and going to pune. Bus came morethan 1.5 hrs. beyond schedule in surat and dropped far far from Pune city (somewhere in the highway). The charge was skyrocketing, three time more than what others were charging. I had to spend rs.200 extra for auto to reach Pune city.
