Hi, I would say it started with the bitter experience but ended with not much excitement. As you know I had booked tickets from Ron to Bangalore on 21-Feb-2016 for S.R.S Travels (Seater) and 8.15 PM pick up time. I had received one SMS from redBus against my booking made on-line but there was no further message from S.R.S till the departure time. We reached the pick up point at 8.20 PM just 5 minutes late then the mentioned time. By the time we reached there, the bus had already left the point and when checked with the S.R.S Booking centre located at the same pick up point about the bus, we got to hear an irresponsible answer saying that bus has already left and we cant help and when we asked about why did not get any call from you regarding journey confirmation, they said that we do call to passengers only if they have booked tickets directly in their booking centres but not on-line. My question is whats the point in booking on line through redBus. Then we dialed in the number provided in the SMS sent by redBus and the person provided the driver number. We had call him and asked to wait for us but by then he had covered 15 KMs. So we had to rush through to catch the bus. Could you please let me know how can they(S.R.S) escape from the responsibility of not contacting passengers who book tickets for S.R.S Buses through redBus.I request you people to act upon this issue which caused a lot of tension for us and made us to take a decision NOT to book any tickets from S.R.S but also with redBus. Hope you understand the seriousness of the matter and take the necessary action.
