This was bad. VRL "canceled" this bus. My booking was for the bus starting from Pune at 8:30pm and reaching my destination at 01:00am as listed on redbus.in, i.e. 4.30 hours journey time. Thats why I selected this option, even though it was 400/- more than SRS and Neeta. I was shifted to another bus and asked to report at 5:30pm instead. We started at 5:45p and roamed within Pune for two hours because, according to VRL staff, "pune is a large city... it takes 2 hours for Pune Darshan..." The bus started at 08:00pm, reaching my destination at 03:30am. that is 10 hours instead of originally 4 hours. I was given the middle seat in the last row that doesnt recline, the a/c is practically ineffective against the engine heat, and overall costs 400/- more.
