Mysore, the erstwhile capital of the Wodeyar dynasty, is located in the state of Karnataka. Situated at the base of the Chamundi hills, Mysore is a popular tourist destination and a weekend getaway particularly for the visitors from Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Mysore Palace, one of the major tourist attractions in Mysore, is known for its exquisite craftsmanship, architecture and carvings. During the ten day long Dassera festival, the palace is fully lit up with lights and is worth a look. The bus was very uncomfortable plus the voice quality of the television was poor. The halt at dinner was a place which serves worst food. I will never travel to Mysore through this bus. The staff was not trained in hospitality at all.
