Lonavala, often called Lonavla is a picturesque hill resort situated in the Pune district of Maharashtra. A popular getaway destination, Lonavala is famous for the unique charm that it possesses, especially during the Monsoons. Although it is more renowned as a hill resort, the place has achieved a special place in the gastronomic chart of the country because of a hard candy sweet known as chikki (sweetmeat made out of Groundnuts and Jaggery), which is the specialty of the region. It is also a major railway station placed on the railway line connecting Mumbai and Pune. Lonavala is also an important town along the Mumbai-Pune road. Bus was two hours late. It follows some different timezone I guess. Very bad experience. 3 hours late to destination.
Our boarding times was 8:35 but bus come at 9:10 we were supposed to reach at 11:30 and we reach at 12:30
Quality of the bus was good but it was 40-50 minutes late and that too when it was starting from Mumbai. There were some rude Indians who were disturbing the peace.I t is difficult to travel in this country.
Travel was good, communication about the bus registration number and boarding timing with driver mobile number, through SMS was excellent. Staffs are good in behaviour with customers..
