Mumbai, earlier known as Bombay, is the capital of the State of Maharashtra. Since most of the countries big financial institutions (like RBI, Stock Exchange and so on) is located it Mumbai, it is also considered as the financial capital of India. Mumbai is one of the most crowded cities of the country as well as the world. It ranks fifth in the list of the most densely populated cities of the world. Nonetheless, Mumbai welcomes people from all walks of life irrespective of their backgrounds. The British developed what was a cluster of seven islands into the bustling city called Mumbai. It was also under the British rule that the place attained importance and further developed into a major financial and commercial hub of the country. Now, Mumbai is often called the City that never sleeps, owing to the commercial and financial activities that the city witnesses even during the night times.
The bus has been maintained very well. The staff is cordial and if the bus is reaching late then the driver lets us know in advance. Overall all a very enjoyable journey.
It was great service and travel by VRL... Keep it up..
I travelled by VRL on 5th Aug,2016, reasonably I could say that the travel was excellent as usual considering traffic in Mumbai, passengers delay at the boarding point, these are unavoidable, inspite of all this odds the driver was able to reach us on time, kudos to them.
Didnt had a good experience. I booked a sleeper coach bus (VRL), but by the time it reached pune bus broke down. They transferred us to a seating coach bus with no seating arrangement. Public just rushed and grabbed the seat. I chose VRL coz of its service (although fare is high than others) but was very disappointed with the service.
