Mumbai, earlier known as Bombay, is the capital of the State of Maharashtra. Since most of the countries big financial institutions (like RBI, Stock Exchange and so on) is located it Mumbai, it is also considered as the financial capital of India. Mumbai is one of the most crowded cities of the country as well as the world. It ranks fifth in the list of the most densely populated cities of the world. Nonetheless, Mumbai welcomes people from all walks of life irrespective of their backgrounds. The British developed what was a cluster of seven islands into the bustling city called Mumbai. It was also under the British rule that the place attained importance and further developed into a major financial and commercial hub of the country. Now, Mumbai is often called the City that never sleeps, owing to the commercial and financial activities that the city witnesses even during the night times.
Bharuch, also called Broach, is a city located at the mouth of the river Narmada in Gujarat. This is an ancient city, which has earned a lot of fame as a seaport and a shipbuilding centre. The city was a well-known centre of trade and the famed silk and spice trade was carried through here during the monsoon winds in particular. As such, it became a key place for the land-sea trade routes. Bharuch was a familiar name among the Greeks, the Persian Empires, the Romans and other Western centres of civilization until the end of the European Middle Ages. Even the Arab traders entered Gujarat through Bharuch to do business. The British also established their business centers there. Bharuch is well connected by Indian National Highway 8 (Mumbai to New Delhi). The 132-year-old Golden Bridge across the Narmada connects Bharuch with Ankleshwar on the station front while a newer bridge connects it to the highway.
Bus was good, but unfortunately, they do not provide the Blanket during the journey, which feels unconfortable during winter night traveling.
Bus quality was good however they didnt pick up in time. Transfer to borivali was done with different bus which is not acceptable.
Bus was supposed to reach the destined place at 22:45 hrs at Thane (West) but reached one hour late. While enquiring from Neeta Travels, concerned authorities asked us to contact the person as per SMS for the delay as if it was none of their business to respond to the customer, which was difficult to digest. Sleeping place too was dirty & had lot of dust. Drivers were polite & gentle.
