Situated in Karnataka, Madikeri is a hill station and a famous tourist destination. There are numerous tourist spots in this hill town such as Raja Seat, Madikeri Fort and Omkareshwara Temple. Raja Seat, a square shaped mantapa in brick was a preferred spot for relaxation and recreation right from the time of the Rajas and thus named so.
