The bus started at 7 PM from Gulbarga was supposed to reach Bangalore by 6:30 AM the next day. The bus wheel had some problem starting from at 12 midnight. The driver still drove it slowly till Challakere (at 5 AM) wen there some smoke coming out of wheel. The they arranged for another 2+2-seater Rajahamsa kind of bus, which came to the spot at 6:00. This bus reached Bangalore Majestic at 10:45. It was a working weekday and had to apply half day leave. Many passengers suffered because of this delay. People from Gulbarga and that side are very courteous and they did not fight, and this VRL people are taking people for a ride. Cannot they provide a proper well condition bus and also check the buses properly before starting itself? Worst maintenance and worst journey. Hey VRL, wakeup before it gets too late.

As I had gone to visit wife, daughter (who are staying in my in-laws place for over 9 months now) during weekend I had to travel VRL Bus coming back. Since my wife was not well I did not want to come to Bangalore over the weekend. In fact wanted to delay journey. If my in-laws asked I would have stayed back.Even though my daughter did ask to stay back. Since I had not applied leave I came.It will be great if I get more time to spend with my family as they need to recover. However the journey was not great coming to Bangalore. Usually almost all VRL bus journeys are great. But this one was not. First my reserved seat was taken by someone else. People who were sitting around that seat were unhyginic and I was requested to sit in another seat.VRL bus conductors should make sure that reserved seats are empty and make sure that we get to sit in the seat reserved. In fact, as soon as we show m-ticket they need to come and seat us in the reserved seat. Substitute given by passenger was also not great as the female passenger in the front seat started omitting soon after the bus journey started. Then I had to shift to back seat where a passenger was drinking beer and talking illogical things. VRL bus management needs to look at the quality of passengers and allow low level passengers to travel in 3 star or below buses and allow good passengers to travel in 4 or 5 star level buses.
