Located in the southwestern region of Maharashtra, on the banks of River Panchaganga, lies the historical city of Kolhapur. The presence of numerous religious centers like Mahalakshmi Temple which is known for its ancient architectural style, Jyotiba Temple, Katyani Temple, Binkhambi Ganesh Mandir, Kopeshwara Temple, BhawaniTemple and Gagangiri Maharaj Math, some of them found dotting the holy river, has given the name ‘dakshinkashi’ to this city. Other than the religious presence, the city houses several forts and other historical places. Some of the major places to visit in this well-connected town are the Maharaja’s palace also known as the New palace, Shahji Chatrapati museum, Vishalgad Fort, Irwin Agricultural Museum, Radhanagari Dam, Wax museum and Bhavani Mandap, the oldest and biggest structure in Kolhapur also known as ‘glory of the city’. And who can forget about the popular and uniquely designed Kolhapuri chappals that are exported to all over the world.
I have booked my ticket online for Neeta travels as a brand name. But the Bus was too bad, bedding was very dirty. My boarding point was Kondapur RTA opp. kolkata house which was changed by operator saying we cannot come there for single passenger and hence i have to go to Miyapur which is about 4-5 kms away from kondapur. I have paid 100 to auto to reach the boarding point. Then bus came very late. drivers behavior is not good. they dont know how to deal with customer. Bus left Miyapur around 1100pm and halting at several point. when she enter Maharashtra this bus become local bus. halting at every point picking up the local passengers and dropping them to their destinations for RS 10-30-50/- And it seems they dont bother about the people traveled so long from Hydrabad to Kolhapur. It looks like some local people using Neeta Travels banner and cheating people. I will never travel with the same.
The bus quality and punctuality was too bad. I traveled by this bus as I had no option. I say you guys do not choose this bus.
Very bad. It delayed at the starting point itself. Reached Kolhapur at 1200 noon, total 5 hours delay. i dont want to give even single star...
