Dindigul, located in the state of Tamil Nadu, lies between the famous Palani and Sirumalai Hills. The city gets its name from a huge rock that overlooks the city and which resembles a pillow. This place was under the reign of Tipu Sultan for a long time and was later conquered by the British. Dindigul fort, built by Muthu Krishna Naicker in the 17th century, is one of the main attractions here. The site is currently maintained by the ASI. Kamarajar Lake, Berijam Lake, Kutladampatti Waterfalls and Ayyampalayam are few other beautiful places nearby. Known also as an important religious centre, some of the prominent temples are Kasi Visalakshi-Viswanathar Temple, Sri Kottai Mariamman Temple, Kamakshiamman Temple, Anjaneyar Temple, Sendraya Perumal Temple, Kurinji Andavar Temple, and Nadupatti Anjaneyar Temple. The Roman Catholic Church and the Begambur Big Mosque, both believed to be 300 years old, are other religious places here. Dindigul is accessible by a good road and rail network.
I am frequent traveller of kesineni bus. For the first time, I faced very embarassing situation. Some 10 passengers in group boarded the bus. The moment they boarded mess started. They were all not able to show off their seat numbers. Almost it took some one hour to get settled. Moreover they were all drunk. Even inside the bus like a bar, they started boozing with glasses. This was ridiculous. The bus attendender didnt even bother to control them. Even some co passengers like us told them. But they were all least bothered. I hope this type of situation would never occur in future. Thank you.
During booking, van pickup didnt mentioned in redbus. But when I went for boarding, they put me in a different bus, and I went to someother location to switch another bus.
very good care, despite the fact there is a danger because of Cavari dispute between Karnataka and Tamilnadu, the staff in the bus took at most care for safe journey
Starting time should be maintained properly.otherwise for passengers it is embracing situation.Pl try to avoid.
