Punctuality is a plus point. Bus quality is good
This was real bad journey. 2 hours away from Ahmednagar smoke started coming out of back of the bus and everyone panicked. It was 5:30 AM in the morning and everyone rushed out of bus due to fear of fire. It turned out to be short circuit issue with AC. However driver acted promptly and fixed it within 30 mins. We started again but again came to halt in 10 mins as another issue with gearbox came up. This time there was no option to fix the gearbox. However, driver and Orange travels guys acted fast and arranged 5 jeeps to take us to our destination. It took about 80-90 mins for jeeps to arrive but it was still very prompt action from management as we were in the middle of nowhere. We reached safely Ahmednagar around 11 AM. I really appreciate quick thinking of driver and management but also would like to highlight poor maintenance of bus.
The bus broke down 250km from destination at 3:30am. Till 8am, the driver and the travel agency did nothing. We were constantly fed lies that another bus is on the way and the driver has gone to bring it. After being stranded for 4 hours, 5 boleros and force were sourced from the local village and 45 passengers were literally squeezed into the vehicles. Reached destination at noon, missing darshans and meetings. We will seek a refund.
Broken lever and you cannot adjust the seat. The seat in the front was broken and the copassanger could not use the seat lever as the seat would fall over my knee. Bottle holder was also broken/ elastic grip is spoiled. The bus was stinking and no air freshner was available. This is my experience but, every other co-passanger had been complaining to staff on something or the other. Seating was too conjusted and the staff response was not great. I have made an online booking and the least that I expect is for the operator to block faulty seats to avoid inconvenience to customers. I would not recommend this bus operator.
