Bad experience last time ,tyre was punctured .this time ,due to breakdown, inordinate delay happened call for explanation from office.l think poor maintenance may be the cause.if it continues, travel may miss many commuters
The bus was really old and improperly maintained. It stalled mid way due to some problem and the crew had to make some makeshift arrangements which took 3 hours, from 2 to 5 in the morning. Reached hyderabad 4 hours late. Never select KPN for Hyderabad Madurai
Passengers who want to reach destination on time, dont prefer KPN. The bus repairs many times like engine pressure low, wheel problem, air bag problem etc. This happened 4 trips out of 4 trips I had in last 3 weeks. Kpn wont pick up or wont start from boarding station and dont drop on time at destination. 2 to 4 hrs delay always. Other travels better than kpn. The problem is with kpn management as driver itself complaining about their maintaince and service dept.
Happy to travel with KPN and thru redbus. Pros- on time, safe travel, clean sheets, considerate initial staff who allowed me to change my faulty chair. The bus had to stop at 7 am because of a mechanical problem. The staff could get their tools out, repair the defect within 15 minutes. In the meantime, they called for another sister bus which took some of the anxious passengers. Good AC. Good video clarity. The audio could have been better. Cons- my seat-No 4 was malfunctioning. It would lean backwards if I leaned back. The knob by the side was not working. The later staff did not bother to arrange another seat even tho 2 ladies were sitting in separate single seats and 7 seats were vacant! The night driving was generally safe. At times, the bus was speeding very fast, sometimes jumping over small bumps on the road at a good speed. Over my seat, the AC was leaking through an absent screw hole inspite of blocking the adjustable vents. The screens separating the drivers cabin were not clean.
