Palani is a small pilgrimage town situated in the Dindigul district of Tamil Nadu. Palani is famous because of the presence of the world famous hill temple dedicated to Lord Murugan also known as Kartikeya or Subramanian. The temple is situated at an elevation of 1500 feet on Sivagiri hills and commands a splendid view of the nearby hills including the Kodaikanal Hills. The architecture of the temple includes a gold tower. Pilgrims can either climb the steps that are sculpted into the rocks or take a wider path meant for the ascent of elephants. In addition, a cable winch with three tracks and a rope way have also been provided more recently for the comfort of the pilgrims. The town has a few other temples which are worth visiting. Some of the temples are Periyanayaki Amman Temple, Periya Avudaiyar Temple, Mariyamman Temple, Perumal Temple, and the Kannadi Perumal Temple.
I booked a sleeper seat (SeatNo : 4L(M)) for my Dad who is 62 years old. When he boarded the bus, Bus staff allotted him a semi sleeper seat. After I talked with the staff, he gave sleeper but 5L (M) seat which is last row in the bus. Again i called the staff and argued but, still he gave upper seat 4L (U) sleeper . And again i called him and said "as my dad is a senior citizen , he cant climb up ... I need that 4L(M) seat only and that is what i booked too". Finally he gave that seat... Worst staff behavior... If a person not knowing of anything, these people will cheat them easily for money ..... If these kind of things happen .. why? we people need booking and reservation system, no need for redbus.in. We can directly go and book tickets at respective travels right?... I hope redbus will take action on this ......
Punctuality is appreciatable
on the return tripthe bus didnt come in time we were waiting for long than reporting time and when we started the bus seat was dirty and when we asked him he was rude
Drivers picked up fight with passengers even for asking when will they stop next for a coffee break. Almost had quarrels with 4-5 passengers. Worst staff behaviour.
