Bus turned off near Gandhi Nagar. Staff asked us to walk to B office. And again it started and we climbed the same bus again. When reached Gandhi Nagar B office, it turned off and we were aksed to go to other bus which was a supplement. We were waiting for a long time in Gandhi Nagar. Reached my destination 1.30 hours late than scheduled time.
I had a lot of trust in vrl prior to this travel.I traveled from Bangalore to moodbidri in a vrl bus on 25.1.15. I had mentioned the boarding point as nagasandra circle. I even received a message about half hour before confirming the same from vrl. 10 minutes before departure, the bus driver called up and says the bus will not be coming there, I will have to reach another boarding point in 5 minutes. This is only the beginning. The bus was supposed to reach moodbidri at 6.30 am. By 11 am we were still 10 km away from moodbidri ( apparently the driver got lost, not bothering to even ask anyone for directions) when he hit into another bus. A minor accident but tried to go too fast in a narrow road, not showing down or allowing the bus to pass. The drivers ended up fighting endlessly. We were forced to catch another local bud and reach our destination. 5 hours late. The quality of the bus was OK. Quality of driver was extremely poor. Vrl needs to pull their socks up.
