Rash Driving and the hotel stop was very bad. Even i traveled before the day in same bus chennai to Kozhikode. they dint even stop for dinner.
I have started with my family from Calicut at 5pm the hotel were they have stopped for dinner is very late at 9.30pm and it was a completely a non veg hotel, Unfortunately we are 100% Vegetarian, so my family including two kids at the age of 7 and 5 could not have any food it was horrible. I have asked the driver to stop at a veg hotel like A2B at any to have some packed food, though he agrees but didnt stop. So it was a bitter experience for us. It is better take your food with you if you are travelling in this bus if you are very particular on Veg. Other wise ok.
Within cities its worse than city buses - stops at every possible stops and at their will. Most of the buses plying in Chennai supplies drinking water, but not Kallada. Having traveled to and from Calicut, my altogether experience has been very bad. Not value for money at all.
One unexpected thing is that I booked the last but one row.... As the bus got passengers to fill the last row...I was asked by the admin guy to avoid using the push back fully which which frustrated me.. When asked the boy asked me to contact the office..and was very rude. For a 15 hours journey, I expected more comfort and hence booked the semi sleeper .. Which didnt serve its purpose at all... If the traveler is expected to adjust, it should have been communicated in advance in advance. Conversemoney.....
