Thiruvananthapuram, erstwhile Trivandrum, is the capital city of Kerala in South India. Located at the western coastlines, along the extreme south of the Indian mainland, this city is known as the abode of Lord Ananthapadmanabha. The father of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi had described Thiruvananthapuram as the ‘Evergreen city of India.’ Tiruvananthapuram is the seat of the state government and it is the largest and most populated city of the state. Since the city is the centre of governance, not many industries can be found here. The IT sector is the major contributor to the revenue here. Apart from this, Thiruvananthapuram is an academic hub and several educational and scientific institutions like the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) are found here. Tiruvananthapuram enjoys great connectivity by means of road, rail and air. A good network of road connects the city to other parts of the region. Bus services are also in plenty.
There was a disturbance because of a drunken man who was issuing death threats when asked to keep his hands off other passengers. Most women in the bus felt very insecure till he was taken out of the bus. I think there should be stricter policies for such cases. Apart from that it was a good travelling experience. There was no compromise on comfort.
My journey was from kurnool to trivandrum. Though it is mentioned 10.30am arrival it reached by 12.30pm. And all shalwa provided for AC are taken by 9.00am. Even on request they did not returned. How aged people, child can tolerate cold atmosphere.. Necessary action or instructions may be provided to concerned staff
Horrible. People puking, bus driver doesnt want to stop. Never again KPN.
We have to atted an official meeting at Trivandrum. We suggested this journey due to the meeting. But we couldnt attend the meeting. The bus reached trivandrum more than 2.30 hour late. This is due to the mismanagement of operators. They wasted a lot of time at bangalare. They permit standing pasengers in the midnight also.
