Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) was established in the year 1947, and has been running with a commendable fleet of 7500 buses. You can book the UPSRTC tickets online using redBus.in by going to the home page, where you can see the UPSRTC page under the footer links. Select your destination, and your journey date and you can filter the results that turn up based on the amenities available in the bus, the type of bus, and the boarding and dropping points. Select a seat of your choice from the seat layout, and click on Continue. Fill in your details, and choose your payment option. You can pay through your Debit Card, Credit Card, Net banking, or with PayU money. Your UPSRTC ticket will be sent to your registered mobile number or you can receive the UPSRTC e-ticket to your email.
In case you want to cancel your redBus ticket, select the Easy Cancel/Refund option that is present on the top left-corner of the home page, and enter your tickets details(Trip ID), and enter your email address with which you have booked the ticket. Review your refund amount, and click on Cancel. If you have booked more than one ticket, and wish to cancel just one ticket, then that can be done too, or you can cancel the entire bunch of tickets.
UPSRTC runs several buses like UPSRTC Janta, UPSRTC Mini, UPSRTC Ordinary, UPSRTC Pawan, UPSRTC Pawan Gold, UPSRTC Sleeper, UPSRTC A.C, UPSRTC City Bus Service, VPL,VP45; VOLVO 45, VPL,VP41, and VOLVO 41. A.C buses include Himani, Sheetal and Shatabdi Buses for inter-city travel as well.
The bus was in very bad condition. It was not cleaned was very dirty.. Also the seats shown over the site was 2*2 however actually it was 3*2 seats position was also not as displayed
Everything was nice except the bus didnt stop at a good midwaym
There was a tire burst and no one in the staff could change the tyre, finally were transferred to anothet bus, terrible.
All things are good in the bus. But the behaviour of service man not good... when i was travel last time from lucknow to gorakhpur in valvo, i told to service man please switch off the light of bus,he told me.. "nahi hoga yaar light on hi rahti hai jao apne seat pe",serviceman told me thats of word. At night travel passenger need to switchoff the light and take rest. Please give instruction to all service man at night traveling switchoff the light.
