Let me explain the terrible incident that happened. There was a hartal on the day of the travel. So I called the KTC office in the morning to check if the bus will be running. They said that the bus will not be running. I asked them repeatedly if there was any way the bus will run and they kept saying that it was not possible and that my money (complete amount)would be refunded to me as the trip was cancelled. Since I had to travel at least the next day, I booked a train ticket using Tatkal (No refund for tatkal). And by evening the KTC guys informed me that the bus would be running! Now I was in a fix since I booked my train ticket Rs 2000 in tatkal and so I wont get a refund. So I asked them if they would cancel my bus ticket(as mentioned in the morning and not charge me the cancellation fee) because it was they who told me the bus wont be running. Not only did they refuse, the way they spoke to me was extremely rude. They called me over smart for trying to book another ticket and trying to go next day. They even hung up on me while on the call and when I called back they were really rude. This is because KTC is a big name and they think they can do as they please and hurt us customers. This is pure frustration of a customer who was cheated. I felt really powerless at that time since I could not do anything against this injustice.
