I'm ok with the bus quality and staff's behaviour. But the punctuality was the real problem. It was almost 2hours late.

Upper berths and that to last row is very uncomfortable, you cant turn around,
Tha last seat on the bus has no cooling. Around 1am in the morning i requested the driver to lower the temprature. He dint respond and gave me no response..itbwas terrible journey with the VRL.
As per the timings the bus was delayed 5 hour late very bad.bad . next time before booking should think n book the vehicle
Everything was good, except that it reached a bit late.
Poor service. No TV. No audio system. No puntualiy.
Bus was not on scheduled time and reached its destination 3 hours late. Bus does not stop in any of the hotels in between. The bus stops in the hotel after about 9 hours. Really Pathetic .... would never ever travel in
Need to improve with the timings

Curtains and seats need refurbishing.
I have travelled couple of times in this bus. The main drawback is the timing always comes late by 1 hour

SRS Travels - We traveled from Shimoga to Mumbai on 5 th night. The bus has excellent sleeper, ambiance, cleanliness and air conditioning. The quality of sound and TV is not up to mark.Window for lower sleepers is not convenient to look out.Journey is smooth.
The staff is co operative but need grooming.
The worst thing about the journey is the journey time. The travels claims that the travel time departure from shimoga is 11.15 pm and reaching Mumbai central/sion is 11.15 in the morning ( 12 hours total ). This is totally wrong. The actual reaching time is not before 2 in the afternoon ( 15 hours total ). This means if you book onward joureny you are in trouble. We had train leaving at 2.20 from Mumbai central for ahmedabad. We had to get down mid way and take a taxi to reach borivali station and just managed to board the train at the last minute. We had spend about rs 1000 extra for this.
In order to spare trouble for other passengers mention correct reaching time. It takes about 15 hours in all every day as confirmed by the Bus driver and Cleaner. After all it is 700 Kms. So give 2.15 noon as reaching time and not 11.15 am.
This I'd travelled via a new bus. It was quite OK.
What i feel is VRL can improve more on their in house services please give water bottles , news papers, at least Rest all in all a comfortable journey
After booking the ticket they change my bus timing from 6.15 pm to 11.15 pm because of this I have to cancel my train ticket to surat & I wasted my day in traveling.
i booked my journey from shimogga to mummbai. Bus was suppose to reach mumbai at 6.30 am but reached mumbai only by 11.30 am. My seat was in the last row and AC was very bad and infact it was very hot and all 5 passengers sitting in the last row were sweating. Even after complaining to the driver problem was not looked into. it was a horrible journey.
Never ever book the lower berth last seats .u feel hot air due engine beneath.I requested to lower the temperature of AC to 16 but all went in vein . Driver mainted temp 23 till we reached mumbai
