Vapi is a city located in Valsad district in the southern region of Gujarat. It is placed on the banks of River Damanganga. Vapi is the largest city in the Valsad district and it is the only city connecting two union territories - Daman & Diu and Dadra-Nagar Haveli. The Vapi town originally belonged to the communities of Koli Patel, Desai (Anavil Bramhins) & similar tribal castes. It is now the largest industrial area in Asia in terms of small-scale industries, dominated by chemical industry plants. The presence of large number of industries makes it the most polluted region of the state as well. The National Highway 8 passes through Vapi, linking it to all major cities of India. As Vapi is the only place from where one can visit Daman and Silvassa, visitors from all over frequent the city. I had booked ticket based on the droppiing poin and was dropped 15 km far away from the destination.Hd to bok an auto and pay another Rs400. Very bad experience.
Bus started on time but was delayed for more than 2 hours. That too without any significant/unusual traffic.
Poor , rather very poor , the bus was supposed to come at 10:00 pm.. On calling up one of this guy said . The bus is late may come by 10:45 pm .. I should plan to reach by this time ,, on calling up at 10:30 he again said that the bus is late by 30 mins .. Finally the bus came at 11:30 pm .. 90 mins late .. Reason : he said there was traffic in Pune .. I am staying in Pune since last 30 years .. I have never seen a traffic which delays someone by 90 mins .. Further if you are taller than 5 11 the sleeper seats are not for you ! You just cant fit into it .. Later there was a spat between the on the spot booked ticket customer and the driver late night at 3pm ..for a sum of money that the driver was not ready to return .. All in all a nightmare ., the bus says its a Neeta travel , but a different bus comes up .with no features of Neeta travel in it ..we have experience this twice , once when my wife travlled and next with me. I request my friends not to opt for this service !
Super bus! Quality of bus is good and it reaches on time :)
