The ‘Holy City’ of Nasik is located in the western region of Maharashtra state. Nasik holds grave spiritual and cultural importance for the Hindi religion and is an important pilgrimage site for the Hindus. The city’s well-laid connectivity makes it very convenient to commute from and to by a network of busses, rails and flights. Nasik lies on the intersection of two main national highways NH 3 and NH 50, which connect the city to other major cities in the state, as well as outside the state by a network of busses. Apart from these national highways, the state highways running through the city link Nasik to Aurangabad and its adjoining locations. We had labour workers as companions picked up from non-conventional pick up points and dropped somewhere during mid-night. I believe it was a mutual contract between the bus driver/coordinator to make some money from the empty seats. I condemn this. Who is responsible if some mishap is done from such passangers to the legitImte travelers? Is Neeta endorsing this activity?
Again disappointed due to punctuality..plz make the bus board and reach at destination on time.. we can bare the delay of 10 to 15 mins but if the delay becomes of say 1 hr or more then how to travel..So I would like to suggest that make sure that timings will be followed on day also and not only at night.
My experience with Purple Metrolink is bad. Very bad. Their bus is never full and they stop at lot of points to fill up the passengers. It took 7 hrs to reach Nasik from Pune and also Pune from Nasik
The TV wasnt working on the bus , hence the journey was a bit boring and was spent sleeping the whole time. Overall it was good.
