The VRL service is absolutely useless. No manners and customer orientation. The pick-up was packed with passenger packed like sardines.I was issued a ticket Pune-Dharwad and dropped on the bypass at 2.15 a.m. on toll booth. The driver told bus does not go in the town. While boarding I categorically asked them that the bus will drop me in the town the Manager at VRL, Katraj Office said yes. No mention of dropping me on the bypass was made neither while ticket being issued or while boarding. I tried to get a lift from various passers from the toll to my destination in Dharwad. But no one was ready to help. The driver had told me VRL bus pass take help from them. The helper asked Rs 10/- as tip to unload my bag from the luggage hold in the night. The bus Veera, PY 01 CF6807 has an old engine which has no power. The bus is not safe and fitness on road is a question mark. The driver halts bus at unclean hotels and tea joints. VRL is not a good operator they cheat.
