Worst experience. I booked ticket in Eagle LK travels bus for 1:30 pm on 26th august from Nathdwara to Ahmedabad and got a confirmation message. Few hours before the journey, i got a message that the revised bus time is 2:45 with a different bus number. When i inquired on the contact number, i came to know it is done by an agent (Ashok Travels, bus stop, Nathdwara) and told me to get in touch with them (even though i booked ticket in Eagle LK travels through redbus).
I called the agent and he rudely said 1:30 pm bus is cancelled. I explained i have a connecting bus from Ahmedabad to Porbandar which i will miss and i cannot go by 2:45 pm bus. Agent rudely replied if you want to go by 2:45 pm then go else he will cancel that ticket also.
Worse, even 2:45 pm bus, which i was told would come by 2:30 pm did not come till 3:05 pm and behavior of the agent at Ashok travels (pickup point) was very rude and nobody was answering the calls on the number given (70232900003, 70232800003)in the message. When the bus came and we rushed to board the bus, the driver misbehaved with us and later didn't even gave us few seconds to comfortably load our luggage in the bus. It was a nightmare. Hope Redbus takes a serious note of the incident and takes proper action against the travel operator/agent.
There are high cancellation charges in case passenger cancels a confirmed ticket, but no such penalty on the travel operator if a bus is cancelled. I had a confirm ticket and "at least" should have been told much before to make an alternate arrangement and kind response.
I think Redbus should de-register such travel operators / agents to protect their reputation.
