I was waiting at the reporting point 15 minutes before the stipulated time at Hotel Guru. Being the first time trip I asked the agent there whether the bus comes there and he did not say I should wait at the opposite side. Bus came late. The bus slowed down stopped for just a second and proceeded even without waiting for a minute. Before that I had seen VRL bus waiting for passengers. But these people did not wait till I crossed the road. Later when I took the agent to task he said he was not knowing I had to go by that bus. He also said as he had to look after his hotel customers he cant take care of passengers. He said I can go by another bus but it did not come in time . I asked and he said it was my responsibility to reach their office near bus stand. I engaged an auto paid 130/- Rs. and reached the spot . There the driver had a different , albeit false, story which was shocking. He said he stopped for 5 minutes inquired about me and not finding me he left the place. There is no NOBEL prize for falsehood- otherwise I could have recommended his name.!!!! Such a good bus operator to have to give us such experience is a mismatch..In KSRTC I have seen if the passenger is not turning up at the designated spot they call him over his mobile phone and request to come early and wait.. but here nothing of sort. Even going my going early and their coming late - I get replies to give an impression that I am telling untruth. Can there be any more insult ???
