This was by KRSNA Travels large Volvo bus (they have a mid- size bus too). It was a 2+2 sleeper. However sleeper on the left side was not wide enough for 2 persons, though the one on the right side was. Mattress was too soft to be comfortable. Bus was late by 1.5 hrs, but KRSNA office gave the drivers number and the driver gave the actual time the bus would reach CBD Belapur stop...and that time was followed (beats not knowing at all). Good riding quality. Stops announced well ahead of time.
The bus quality was good, except for the fact that the mobile charging point was not working, the TV display at the back of seat wasnt running, the overhead TV was either not working or kept switched off. Biggest problem was that the overhead AC vent was broken, as a result cold air was howling in. There was an attempt to block the vent by putting inside a pile of papers, but still cold air creeped in which caused shivers. But the bus operator was very polite and agreed to change our seats. However, other passengers had to bear the agony. Vital tip - please carry a blanket. The bus arrived 5 mins late which is more than acceptable given Mumbai traffic conditions. The riding quality was also very good and bus fairly new. Overall rating - 4.2/5.
My seat was broken... Couldnt sleep or rest at all, air condition very poor.
Very bad experience, two hours we were at petrol bunk without AC. Bus got failed, reached Mahabaleshwar is another bus, two hours late.
