The journey was good. Seating was also gud. Only problem was when it rained i was unable to find out is it raining inside or outside. I reached destination in time. Overall 3 on 5.
While booking the bus,it shows bus will reach by 6.00. But was late by 2hrs. Ie reached at 8.00am
The seat that I got was filled with bugs that bit me. It was a very dirty experience. For the money we pay, I think the seat quality must not be compromised.
Travelled yesterday (01-06-2014)on Durgamba Travels from Kottayam to Mangalore on seat no 22
1) First of all info provided in red bus is wrong.seat no 22 comes at the driver side !
2)The bus itself is from stone age with seat covers are torn and dirty infested with ants..!
3)Bus has Very poor suspension and window panes and sides are too noisy
4)The seat which i got (22) has lost its push back mechanism and you cant sit straight. Every small shock was directly affecting my spine and head leaving me in a state of unmatched painful experience of 15 hrs !!!
5) To top it all this bus has more stops than any ordinary bus!
Left me with a bad head ache and a bad day with body pain !
