This is the worst bus journey I ever had. To start with, I reached Kallada office by 21:00 as 21:15 being my reporting time for 21:30 service. The staff told me that bus will be coming by 22:30 which is 1hr late and I had to wait. Bus came by 22:45 and found that my reserved seat was already occupied by someone else. When enquired, I found out that I never had a ticket reserved in my name in that bus. On futhur enquiry, I found that the bus they cancelled the actual 21:30 bus ,in which I reserved, due to lack of passengers and they were trying to adjust those passengers in this bus. And also I have to change bus at vytila from where the bus I booked will start. I was never informed about this connection. This can be a falt from red bus where they never mentioned this while booking tickets. After boarding the bus from Kazhakootom, I was offered a vacant seat in the last row till Kollam. Once bus reached Kollam, staff asked me to move to another seat as other person claimed that seat from Kollam. I was given the staffs bed in the front row. To add to my nightmare, there was bed bugs!! I somehow managed to sit there till Vytilla. Then myself along with other 5 passengers where asked to get into another bus in which I had my reserved seat. With just 6 passengers the bus started its journey. But from Vytila, my destination was just 45 minutes away. Hence I had 3hrs 45minutes of nightmare and another 45 minutes of enjoyable journey.
