I was asked to report at 1300 hrs at Kanyakumari. At 1325 I was asked to board an Innova. In hot weather opperator refused to switchon A/C. Very uncomfortable travel from Kanyakumari to Nagercoil about 30 Km away. At Nagercoil no proper place to sit in Kallada travel office.had to wait again 45 minutes in hot weather. At 1430 hrs kallada travel bus started. Bus was very good and comfortable,,though the crew was indifferent. Reached Madurai bypass(about 10-15 Km away from bus stand) at 1730hrs. Were asked to get down and wait for a drop vehicle which reached at 1800 hrs. Driver of this vehicle insisted on having tea first. This vehicle which was delapidated rickety minibus dropped at madurai near Periyar bus stand at about 1855 hrs. Not at all satisfied with the pickup and drop arrangement in bad and uncomfortable vehicles and shifting luggage on my own when I have paid for an A/C bus for entire journey. ANIL KUMAR
