My Story of Sleepless Journey, I hope everyone reads this: You book a ticket and get bitten by the Monster Bed Bugs, seriously… not worthy of travelling through by spending 1000 odd bucks. If I wanted to give my blood I can donate for free, but not sucked by the nasty Bed Bugs (Nallulu Baboy Nallulu … Jagratha ….). People may think that they have some food allergy when they have itching followed by the symptoms of rashes. But it’s not applicable in this context. People and service providers (in general) don’t take this issue as a serious one, but indeed it’s a really concerning and serious issue. Sorry, if my story makes you to feel bore, but I don’t mine, I do not care. Let every one must and should know this, because you may be a next victim.
Oh my God, where should I start.. Okie here you go..ufff I get chills ..
Probably the worst, horrific and sleepless travel experience through-out the journey and I never had experienced in my life. I request all the customers to write their genuine experiences without laziness (in writing a review : Jouney Ayipoyindi kada ani dayachesi oorukokandi), because Bed Bugs and hygiene has become a serious issue now a days in A/C busses and the Service Providers /operators never think off. Since getting rid of bed bugs involved lot of work with the sanitization and quality methods which they do not really care or follow and surprisingly few of them do not even the standard procedures …However, if you have had experienced the same as like me then ask for your precious time and money and obviously it’s your right . It does not matter whether it’s a sleeper or semi sleeper.
I traveled from HYD to VISHAKHAPTNAM on last Friday 3rd March 2017 at 10: 00 PM. The service provider/operator name is SVK travelers and the bus type is “VOLVO A/C Multi Axle Semi Sleeper (2+2)”. Bus started from the city and the lights were put- off. After a half- an- hour, I started feeling so much of discomfort due to the itching sensation and rashes on my legs and other parts of the body stomach, back, hands and etc …. I have suffered almost 3/4 th time of my journey, more precisely until the sun raised up (11:30 to Morning 6:00).
There were huge and huge number of Bedbugs (in Telugu: Nallulu, Rakhtanni Peelchevi baboyyyy, Chavanivvavu Bathakanivvavu avi antha Darunam), massively infested, hidden inside the seats and dark areas where air and sun-light cannot pass through properly.
At first I thought that it was a mosquito bite, but later on I realized that there were no mosquitoes. Nevertheless, there were blood sucking monstrous “Bed Bugs” hiding inside the seats and as well other parts of the bus.
After few hours, I was looking around at other passengers randomly so as to know that are they facing the same problem like me?: My fellow passenger told me that he was also suffering from much itching and rashes. I observed few other passengers were also feeling discomfort. Then I confirmed myself so strongly and firmly that there have been bedbugs, I have seen with my own eyes by using my mobile troche light.
When I asked the driver he lied to me at first, and then said that he has been driving the same bus since 2 months and never heard that customer complaining on this issue. However I have shown the proof to him and then he spelled the truth that he has also had similar experience of itching and rashes.
Forget about him and his explanations and I wonder why few passengers never complain on this. Why do you keep quite when someone like you is suffering? On a particular day or time you may not experience, but some day it may happen to your family or friends. Guys once again raise this alarming issue with the service providers and Operators and Middle men and any concern stakeholder who look after the cleaning and hygiene processes …. Bed Bugs may come along with your luggage also .. so they are seriously the worst bugs in the history of life sciences...
