First of all I had booked my ticket for 7pm bus from Mapusa, Goa. But I got a message and call from seabird on 10th morning that bus is changed and seat number is changed. I had to board at 4.15pm. They boarded me at 4.30pm from Mapusa, Goa. Journey was confortable upto 3.30am. At 30.30am bus reaached a place called Shira. At that time when all the passengers were in deep sleep, announcements were made using mike that all the passengers had to shift to another bus. I asked for a reason, the driver said, we don't know we are asked to do this from the higher ups. The other bus was not empty, we had to wait untill all the passengers would alight and then board the second bus. Waited for 15to 20mins on the road at 3.30am with our luggage. Then the second bus started from Shira. We had to use the same crumpled blankets left by the previous passengers. When we reached Bangalore at 6.30am, we were asked to alight and wait again for another bus to Mysore. Finally the third bus came at 6.50am. Boarded the third bus and reached Mysore (my destination) at 10am. This is my story with Seabird Travls.

About Goa

Located in Western India, it’s the smallest in area with a GDP per capita two & a half times of the country as a whole. It has traces of the cultural influence of the Portuguese, who once ruled over it and is famous for its beaches & world heritage architecture. A typical tourist destination, the city in general is always in a state of buoyancy and free of the fast & hurried life which the rest of the country has come to. Tourism being the main source of economy, mining is not far behind and agricultural crops like Rice, cashew and coconut are some crops grown here.

About Mysore

Mysore a popular tourist destination of Karnataka is an amazing city with varied distinctions. It is the second largest city of Karnataka along with being its cultural capital. Mysore was also the erstwhile capital of the Wodeyar and numerous historical monuments stand as testimony to the region’s glorious past. Swarms of tourists throng to the region throughout the year, but Mysore is especially beautiful during Dussehra, which is the state festival of Karnataka. Some of the popular tourist destinations of Karnataka include the Mysore Palace, St.Philomena’s Church, Brindavan Gardens, Chamundi Hills and much more. Various wooden handicrafts are something that tourists can take home as souvenir.
