For all dedicated Mangalore traveller please skip this punctuality ,any time bus/boarding point can be changed...Horrible...

The passengers of Durgamba Travels had a horrible experience after a drunkard sexually harassed two girls and created a ruckus. The bus crew chose NOT to act stating he was accompanied by a woman wh

9.40 bus came at 11. I booked window seat and they gave last row. stopped before destination and put in non AC local bus

clean bus but the seats on one side had very less leg space. Driver created an accident but nothing serious.

There was a disturbing sound inside the bus. When I asked staff about this the staff told that it was of Fan and they didn't bother to rectify that. It was all through the journey and also they didn't bother to switch off light inside. a bad experience anyway.

They collected fare from ernakulam to bangalore but the bus was only till kasargod. Seems like they doesnt have licence to take bus to karnataka. This was a case of pure cheating.

Very bad experience stopped at boarder and changed to local bus

The journey was good, staff well behaved. The only problem was food. The hotel where the bus halt for dinner is horrible. Pack your food.

Iam Geetha Jose..I was booking Nippon travels @ 1860. On that day they stopped their trip and arranged kallada travels. Its ok. Fine. But on that day kallada travels requird only 1450 rs. My cash lost actually.who will responsible for that?

Positive was their punctuality. The sheets looked very dirty and used many times which i showed the attender. On asking for a fresh sheet which I told the attender that i will change myself, he behaved rudely and didn't even bother to answer me. This kind of attitude is unacceptable.

Bus didnt have the charging slots or they didnt wanna provide.. staffs behaviours were bad. they were calling now and it disturbed me from sleeping.

Very bad experience. Bus came to Edappally toll boardind point at 10.50pm instead of 9.30 scheduled time. At Talappady passengers were asked alight the bus and board another ordinary bus. Reeached Mangalore at 12.15pm instead od 9.30 am . Many passengers missed office. I missed my connecting train to Goa.

KSRTC volvo buses of Karnataka which charge more than half of the rate charged by NIPPON travels provides free drinking water, a blanket and takes you all the way to Mangalore Bus Station. The NIPPON bus wasn't even a volvo and there was no mobile recharge ports either. The NIPPON travels took me till the Karnataka-Kerala border only and a change of bus was made, in which the concept of Air Condition means having the windows open for air, else sweat in the heat. The bus conductor said that it is a link service and it is mentioned in the m-ticket and hence the change of bus. The abbreviation EKMMNGLNK in the ticket means link service it seems and as a literate person, the passenger is supposed to know that. Sorry my bad. Still even if I knew the full form, I would have come to know about it from the ticket which you get after paying for it. The second bus neither went to the KSRTC bus station nor the private bus station. So I had to catch a rickshaw to reach my house. And to top the list of complaints, the bus was 3.5 hours late. I reached my work at 12:30 pm, and my boss gave me only half-day's attendance.Surprisingly, I was the only passenger who complained.

I am very sorry to say that it was a very bad experience travelling that night. First of all the bus turns up 2 hrs late... and to top that they abandoned us at the talapadi checkpost saying they don't carry a permit for karnataka state.

The conductor was arrogant. The driver was rash. And while booking the. Bus seat was the front sleeper class seats..but then the seat numbering in bus were messed up. And we ended up in the back seat

Dated:14-10-2015 To, 1. M/s.Kallada Travels………. 2. M/s. e-ticket. With deep concern and anxiety I am constrained to address you claiming damages and inconvenience caused to me on 9.10.2015. I have booked a ticket to Mangalore Bus of which the boarding point is Edappally Toll. The reporting time at the Edappally toll is shown as 9.30 PM and the departure time is shown in the ticket is 9.45 PM. I have been allotted with seat No.F.4. I have reported at Edappally Toll, Kallada Office opposite Pittappallil Agencies sharply by 9.25 PM. There were two other passengers like me who were to board the bus. The passengers were waiting for the bus to arrive which is said to be coming from Trivandrum. I have waited and waited listening to the empty excuse of the lone booking clerk/manager but there was no trace of the bus. Finally the bus limped in at 12.45 AM and I was forced to board the bus. Since there was no other means of transport at that unholy hour I was constrained to travel by the said bus. Immediately before the bus to arrive I have informed that the bus would not come at Edappally Toll and I had to walk to Edappally Signal NH 17 bus stop. I have with my luggage retracted the way to NH-17 almost 2 KM away from Edappally Toll. Though on the number supplied by your booking clerk was contacted, there was no response which all the more put me in utter confusion and chaos. This by itself is a deficiency in service and I would claim for damages for this deficiency. Once I boarded the bus it was yet another trauma and because had it been a bullock cart it would have run fast than the bus itself. Though it is said that the bus is a multi axle Volvo Bus and in fact it is so but it traversed the National Highway with speed less than a city service bus. In the result I reached Mangalore at about 2.30 PM. I would have boarded the bus on the PM of 9th October but in fact I boarded the bus on the 10th October 12.45 AM. Instead of reaching Mangalore in the morning of 10th October I reached there in the afternoon. I was going for an urgent meeting on behalf of the firm in which I work for and the meeting was slated to be held at 11.30 AM on the 10th October, I could not attend the meeting at all which has courted the wrath of my employer and also the conductors of the meeting. My inconvenience and my agony is attributable to both of you, the e-ticket provider and Bus operator. You as the E-ticket provider has a fundamental duty to let me know the delay in departure and also the change of boarding place. You the Bus operator Suresh Kallada, has the bounden duty to keep your promise to safely conduct me to Mangalore within a stipulated time and also you had the basic duty to provide free transportation from the prearranged boarding point to the altered boarding point just at the nick of the time of departure that to 3 hours after the time shown in the ticket. You are also liable for an apology to me for having put me to such inconvenient circumstances.

The point of origin and the terminal stop need to be clearly mentioned on the booking page. The sheets and pillow covers smelled as they had not been changed after the previous trip.

New bus. Sleeper Seats are very comfortable. No Mobile Charging facility.

On this route the avg time to travel is around 9 hrs. this travels claims 10.5 hrs and actually takes around 12 hrs because they don't go through national highways instead takes roads via small towns causing the delay. So if you are on a tight schedule avoid this travels.

        Entire travel was pleasant.

I was travelling with my friend. We both had taken single sleepers.A guy from the staff created quite a headache for us.He kept on pulling off our curtains as if he was checking if we were alright. He did that multiple times throughout the travel..even at 3am!A time wen we were disoriented due to deep sleep and couldn't react!

I was travelling with my friend and we both had booked single sleepers. There was a staff member who created quite a headache. He kept on coming to our seats and pulling off the curtains as if he was checking if we were alright. He did this multiple times throughout the journey and even at 3am in the morning! At a time when we were disoriented due to deep sleep and couldn't react!

When I contact to the number mentioned in the ticket The guy who pick up the phone said that they are not aware about the ticket booked through online. After that the driver called me and I request him to pick up me from Edappally Toll but he refused to stop there and ask me to reach at the next boarding place. This was a bitter experience .

Instead of choosing ksrtc I have tried red bus first time but the experience is really worst ,quality of bus was bad along with that the bus must be having ruotw permit to avoid manjeshwara check post because of which they too a long route causing delay of 5 hours

They unable to clear the boarding point, bus seat quality is not good.

        1. The departure time as per bus company and the one in your site is different 2. Boarding point. They insist that we have yo come to their office at vyttila context w

The bus started very late and kept waiting at all stops.finally bus stopped at thalapaddy and we were asked to board a local bus to Mangalore....bus reached Mangalore after 9.30a.m. we were supposed to reach by 7a.m....this is poor service from redbus and royal travels(this bus came as a replacement for skyline)....

The service was promised till Mangalore but before reaching the destination we were shifted to some local bus.we had to travel 15 km in that local bus.other thing is that bus was late by 3 hours.I will never book a ticket through red bus again.

My trip (Cochin to Mangalore) was a horrible experience. The bus left early and I had to take an auto to catch the bus. Even though it was their mistake, they were talking as if I was the culprit! In fact many others missed the bus as the driver and his assistant were negligent and careless. Finally we reached Kerala border almost 2 hours behind schedule. guess what... they instructed us to board a local private bus for the remainder of the journey!!! No water, no blanket or any basic amenities provided considering the fact that the ticket cost was Rs 1700 (Cochin to Mangalore). It was a RIP OFF!! Please don't travel with ROYAL tours or NIPPON tours.

Red Bus could help customer choose the nearest Boarding Point. It would be of a great help to your customers.

The bus started late and lot of delay in each and every pick up points. The bus departed at 5. 20 pm as against 4.45 pm. They crew was not sensitive to the passengers dinner requirements. They stopped at Calicut at 11.15 pm where there was no good food joints. Many of us had to have only a juice as our dinner. The bus was also not a direct a bus. We need to change from one bus to another at Calicut. I would not like to travel in this bus again.

The bus bording time was 7.25. and i reached at 7.00 at the bording point. And the bus came at 8:45.

Punctuality was bad and staff contact number was bad

Hi The bus was delayed by 45 minutes, except that everything was fine.

The only complaint is that the bus was 1hr 15 min late and there was no one to inform us of the delay. Redbud should provide the local travels telephone numbers. The travel operator was not picking up the landline either

As per your site inform Bus is AC sleeper/seater. But the operator told there is no Ac bus only Non-Ac. Pure cheating on the redbus booking site

The bus was1 hour late then u wrote initially(9.30) ,they stopped at a very busy place and hurried us in without any explanation and thus some people who wanted to go to mysore their bag was kept with us,there was no leg space at all when compared to some other bus,the only good thing is we reached 45 minutes late late.thoughavetravbuspace.leg space

The bus was an old one.. Seating was not good at all.. It was jerking all the way, but not because of the road condition...

i did not got bus.very bad cordination.nobody given drivernumber also.i caught another bus & reached man galore 3 hours delayd

Bus was not till last point. We had to move into a local area bus for the last one hour. Please look into this issue

Very bad service. They dropprd only to Kazargod and from their they shift us to Kannoor- Manglore local private bus service.

        it was just ok.

Bus was an hour anf a half late..Staff was not friendly..Driving was rash couldint sleep a bit..Travel services should ensure hoapitality, punctuality and safe driving

Travel in durgamba travels from ernakulam to Mangalore was horrible. I used to travel by ganesh before as the buses are not available , now its horrible to use durgamba.buses are not good, staffs arent any better.

Actually the bus service was cancelled on that day and I have not received any information. I have struggled a lot due to this worst service. What about refund of money? When I get the refund amount??

        it was really nice journey..
