KSRTC volvo buses of Karnataka which charge more than half of the rate charged by NIPPON travels provides free drinking water, a blanket and takes you all the way to Mangalore Bus Station. The NIPPON bus wasn't even a volvo and there was no mobile recharge ports either. The NIPPON travels took me till the Karnataka-Kerala border only and a change of bus was made, in which the concept of Air Condition means having the windows open for air, else sweat in the heat. The bus conductor said that it is a link service and it is mentioned in the m-ticket and hence the change of bus. The abbreviation EKMMNGLNK in the ticket means link service it seems and as a literate person, the passenger is supposed to know that. Sorry my bad. Still even if I knew the full form, I would have come to know about it from the ticket which you get after paying for it. The second bus neither went to the KSRTC bus station nor the private bus station. So I had to catch a rickshaw to reach my house. And to top the list of complaints, the bus was 3.5 hours late. I reached my work at 12:30 pm, and my boss gave me only half-day's attendance.Surprisingly, I was the only passenger who complained.
