After verifying the dropping point from the site, I booked a ticket from Chennai to Attur. Chennai boarding point - International Airport Bus stop, Attur Dropping point - Attur Bus stand. While the bus is about to reach Attur, the Bus driver told that the bus will go through the Bypass road but not through Attur Bus stand. As such, you have to get down at the outskirts of the town. I told him after verifying the site only, the ticket was booked and hence there is no reason to get down at the Outskirts of the town and I requested him to go through Attur Bus stand. After spat only, he reluctantly drive the vehicle through Attur Bus stand. It is difficult for passengers to get down at midnight/ early morning at the outskirts and search vehicle to reach the town.
It is sad to point out that when the dropping point is available in the net for that particular bus, it should have been mentioned in the ticket also to avoid such unnecessary quarrel.
At present, Bus ticket contains only the Boarding point. I advise you if the bus is not running through the dropping point, it should be removed from the site or else the Bus should run through the mentioned dropping point only to avoid inconvenience to the passengers. I think that lot of passengers might have been faced these kind of inconvenience by booking ticket through the Red Bus site which may harm your business interest as well.
I hope that I will get response to this complaint.
