The bus on this route is crammed. They were not keeping luggage in the dicky and insisting that it be kept inside. A small shelf is provided on each bed. But this is good enough only for a hand bag and not for suitcases. Moreover, this shelf hurts the legs if one moves in sleep.
Dont ever promote this travel for Kodaikanal travel . The staff does not know what is punctuality or what is basic courtesy . They are highly corrupt. Even though the bus could have reached the destination on time, The driver stopped at three restaurants after 7.0 am and reached the destination at 10.30 am instead of 6.30 am. When we questioned the driver , the driver behaved very badly.
Bus arrival at kodaikanal was very late around 11:30 Reached. In Bus AC on & off knob is not working properly. No punctuality.
Really unhappy with the timings. When it was mentioned 9pm departure and the bus delayed for 1hr which made a delay in our arrival. The staff behavkour is too rude though unnecesaary they take extra ticket for kids and do not provide Proper ticket. This journey was a bad experience, if the punctuality cant be met then any passenger will not be satisfied. Hope you understand our pdoblem. Thank you.
