For those travelling from Ahmedabad to Nashik, Id suggest taking a train to Mumbai and a Volvo bus there onwards. The Ahmedabad to Nashik road is not one of the best routes to travel on for twelve hours. The second half of the journey is extremely bumpy and even a sleeper bus couldnt cancel out the discomfort of the same. The bus stops twice, once after Baroda at night and once in the morning, just before reaching Nashik and the toilets at both the stops are unclean and they stink. It may be a cost-effective journey for some, but if you place comfort over cost, then this one isnt for you.
